Hyper Directory is an application that allows users to quickly and easily search and access information stored in the corporate LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directories. LDAP has become an increasingly popular information storage option among corporations. The Hyper Directory fully utilizes it’s capabilities to efficiently and effectively organize information regarding users, their departments, and their physical location.

Look up and dial 75% faster (compared to telephone switch directories). This LDAP-based, organization-wide directory works quickly and efficiently, narrowing down the possible entries with each keystroke. Users access the directory from the screen of an IP phone and can look up numbers and place calls across any number of disparate telephone switches.

Users start their search form on the IP phone and enter the parameters they are looking for (e.g. names, phone numbers, project IDs...). After submitting the search on the IP phone the Phone directory searches through the available data sources and gets the search results. The search results are delivered to the IP phone and displayed as results. Of course the user can immediately dial a number of view some detailed information.
